NTIBIF as an incubator offers Food-Agri based Start-ups unparalleled access to our wide network of industry experts including NIFTEM Faculty, State-of-the-art research resources and office infrastructure, mentorship and focussed industrial training by dedicated professionals, and access to funding organizations such as Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists and Government Grants. Through its affiliation with the NIFTEM and MOFPI, NTIBIF partners Start-ups with technical/research teams on creating a successful path to the market.
Our Objective is to foster a convergent innovation ecosystem that supports Food-Agri based Start-ups to succeed while benefitting the different stakeholders including consumers, farmers, industry experts and investors.
N-SIP is a uniquely designed program for Food-Agri Start-ups, with state-of-the-art facilities to help transform your business ideas into successful entrepreneurial opportunities.
Eligible Start-ups will get funding up to ₹ 5 Lacs. It will provide a great boost to meet preliminary expenses and a much-needed boost for the Start-up owner.
An intensive 2-weeks workshop will be held to ensure right product market fit, a strong team, business connects and the right foundation for a sustainable business.
Mentor ship support will be provided for every Start-up. The mentors will comprise of dedicated experts and research professionals.
Access to NIFTEM’s World Class Research Labs will be provided to Start-ups that Qualify for Phase 2.
Market linkages through Internal and external initiatives will be provided. Startups will also have showcase opportunities across partner events & activities.
The selected Start-ups will be given office infrastructure support in NIFTEM Campus for entire duration of the programme.

NIFTEM Start-up Incubation Programme (N-SIP) offers a great opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators to transform their unique ideas into successful business ventures. The program aims to provide world class Business Incubation and Accelerator facilities to host and nurture the Start-ups while facilitating commercialization of Food-Agri & allied sector technologies developed by various research institutes. It will comprise of 2 phases:
A two-week intensive workshop will be conducted where the selected Start-ups will gain insights on the fundamental aspects critical for product development and business. It would include on campus mentoring by industry experts, classroom sessions by technical & business experts, product designing workshops, market connect or networking, and Valuation & Fund Raising. The progress will be monitored by an expert committee to shortlist Start-ups for phase-II.
It is an extremely focused ‘high-growth’ phase where the selected Start-ups will get up to ₹ 5 Lacs funding support, with access to high-tech research labs, dedicated industry mentors, scientists and professionals. The Start-ups will also be connected to a deep network of investors including angel investors and venture capitalists.
